Healthier Dessert Options
Serve fruit for dessert- Baked berries, Baked apples, Baked pears, or Fruit with a chocolate dip, Oatmeal Apple Sauce Muffins, or even a Fruit Nut and Cheese board
Baked berries
Drizzle 1 tsp (per 3 servings) balsamic vinegar on strawberries and blueberries (I use dark chocolate or espresso flavored balsamic
Stir well, place in foil packet in oven and bake at 400 for just a few minutes
Pour baked berries over greek yogurt
Baked apples
Core apple, fill with a little butter, sugar, cinnamon and pecans or walnuts
Put in baking dish, add a little water
Bake at 350 for 45 minutes/ or until desired consistency
I use honey crisp but they are tart, so use gala if you want a less tart apple
Baked pears
Preheat oven to 425 and spray pan with baking pam
Melt 1 tbsp butter with fresh rosemary shavings
Cut pear in 1/2 and place in baking pan, top with melted butter and rosemary
Bake 8 minutes, turn oven off
Top with honey, goat cheese, and pecans, place back in oven for a few minutes
(I use Anjou pears)
Chocolate fruit dip
Combine 1 cup greek yogurt, 1/4 cup cocoa powder, 1/4 cup creamy peanut butter, 3 tbsp honey, 1/4 tsp cinnamon
Mix well
Serve with fruit

Serve with your favorite cheeses, pumpkin seeds, and honey- try spicy honey
